I am just loving this quilt.. I drove into my quilt shop yesterday to buy some material to finish off this beauty . The lady in there thought the red was divine, but honestly I was over it majorly and just wanted to whip the last few bits together as fast as I could on my machine.Which I did. Then I stood back and took a look and I realised I love it more than any other quilt Ive done. I know its asimple design but it must be the colours, I think Im definatley a repro girl! My next project has already been started..a jazzy coloured lot of pinwheels for Alexs room. Normally I would go out and buy some fabric I require to off set the brights for the pinwheels but cash has to be expanded right now so Ive jsy had to cut out lotws of triangles. This does not make me ahappy sewing girl I can tell you,I become very uncomfortable with a needle and thread in my hand.
Easter is fast approaching, The singing comps are on Good Friday. Ive written it in my diary with the words: Be. Calm.alongside !! Then it will be aweek worth of dress rehearsals for Sinbad and aweeks worth of shows and then the school holidays are over. Wheres the rest and relaxation I am thinking!
